Make a Multiple Page PDF in Preview

1. Open your PDF’s in Preview

- Hold down Shift whilst selecting images to choose multiple images
- Right click with the mouse and choose ‘Open With’ - Preview

2. Choose 'Contact Sheet' from the 'View' menu.

- Hold down Shift whilst selecting images to choose multiple images
- Drag the selected page’s thumbnail images over the thumbnail that you are going to add these pages to.
- A green plus sign will appear when you drag to indicate you are adding pages.
- The page that you have added the additional pdf’s to is now a multi page pdf.

3. Rename your file

- You can rename the file by choosing: File > Rename

1. Open Acrobat

2. Open one pdf that is going to be in your multi page pdf.

- File > Open

3. Choose 'Document' > 'Insert Pages' from the menu bar

- Navigate to your additional pdfs and select them.
- Hold down the Shift key to select more than one file or Command on a Mac, Control on PC to select discontinuous files.

4. Insert Pages Dialog Box

- A dialog box will appear asking if you would like to add the pages before or after the initial page - choose your preference and press ok.

5. Save your new multi page pdf.

NOTE to be able to upload to Snowhite your Acrobat PDF needs to be saved as Acrobat Version 4. For Snowhite compatibility please skip to step 6.

- File > Save as (rename file as you wish)

6. Save your new multi page pdf to be compatible with Snowhite

- File > Save as
- File Format > Adobe PDF Files, Optimized.
- Click the Settings button
- Where it says 'Make compatible with' Choose from drop down menu - Acrobat 4.0 and later
- Important : Image settings;
- 'Color images' - 'Downsampling' drop down menu = OFF
- 'Greyscale images' - 'Downsampling' drop down menu = OFF
- 'Monochrome images' - 'Downsampling' drop down menu = OFF
